  • Includes BEVs, FCEVs and PHEVs

  • A second-hand EV may qualify for the exemption, provided it was first purchased new on or after 1 July 2022
  • Have a maximum dutiable value of $70,000 or less
  • Applies to cars under salary packaging arrangements (including those procured under a novated lease)

ELIGIBILITY
  • Applicants must have an Australian Business Number (ABN) and be an entity incorporated under the Corporations Act 2001.5:5
  • Have relevant insurances
  • Be one of the following
    1. Entities incorporated under the Corporations Act 2001(Cth)
    2. State-owned corporation or subsidiary of an Australian state or territory owned corporation
    3. Local government or council in NSW
  • Location must be within an eligible zone

Standard Stream

  • Each site requires a minimum of 4 charging bays that can be serviced by a 350kW charger and 2 that can be serviced by a 175kW charger
  • Must have a minimum connection to site of 500 kVA (or an alternative connection size where evidence can be provided that 500kVA cannot be achieved)
  • Stations must be built within 24 months

Fast Track Stream

  • No more than 70% government co-funding of total construction costs
  • Each site requires a minimum of 8 charging bays; 2 that can be serviced by a 350 kW charger and 6 that can be serviced by a 175 kW charger
  • Must have a minimum connection to site of 750 D3kVA (or evidence provided that 750 kVA cannot be achieved)
  • Stations must be built within 18 months

  • Vehicles with a Green Vehicle Guide rating of 4½ or 5 stars may also be eligible for the lower tax
  • Eligible new or used BEVs and FCEVs under 4.5 tonne gross vehicle mass (including motorcycles) that cost up to $78,000 (dutiable value) are exempt from stamp duty if registered from 1 Sep 2021 in NSW

NT EV Charger Rebates

Businesses must:

  • Have their principal place of business physically located in the NT
  • Offer goods and services to the public
  • Have an ABN and be a valid legal entity
  • Have an annual turnover of at least $75,000

  • Have a registration payment due or have paid a registration payment which was due on and after 1 Jul 2021 and on or before 30 Jun 2023

    2. Purchased brand new or as a demonstrator model
    3. Purchased on or after 2 May 2021
    4. Purchased through a participating ZEV trader
    5. Registered in Victoria
    6. Delivered and registered with VicRoads within a maximum of 6 months from the date of Contract of Sale

  • Applicants who are either:
    1. Not-for-profits registered with ACNC
    2. Local government authorities
    3. Small to medium enterprises as defined by the Australian Bureau of Statistics

  2. Be a light vehicle (gross vehicle mass of 4.5 tonne or less)
  3. Have a WA vehicle licence granted on or after Tuesday 10 May 2022
  4. Have a maximum dutiable value of $70,000 or less
  5. Be brand new and never previously registered or licensed
