The Western Australian Government is providing a $15 million grant for businesses to co-fund the cost of installing EV charging infrastructure.
This is to make it easier and more cost-effective for small to medium enterprises, not-for-profit organisations, and local government authorities to install EV charging equipment at their workplace.
The grant is designed to promote the use of renewable energy and reduce carbon emissions. This article will provide an overview of the Charge Up Workplace Grants program and the criteria for eligibility. We will also discuss the application process for interested parties.

This involves charging stations installed at various locations that EV drivers visit, such as shopping centres, restaurants, and tourist destinations. These stations are intended to provide convenient charging options for EV owners while they are engaged in activities at their destination.
Charging stations can also be installed at car parks in various locations, such as office buildings, retail centres, and public transport hubs. These charging points provide a reliable and convenient charging option for EV owners who park their vehicles for extended periods.
The Charge Up Workplace Grants program is also focused on supporting the transition of fleets to electric vehicles. Businesses and organisations can apply for funding to install EV charging stations for their fleets, reducing the environmental impact of their transportation activities.
These charging situations provide an opportunity for EV owners to charge their vehicles during the day, increasing the accessibility and convenience of electric vehicle ownership.
With the Charge Up Workplace Grants program, the aim is to create a network of charging stations that will encourage more people to switch to electric vehicles, promoting a sustainable future for Western Australia.
